Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical / I&C Inspector to support field inspections and QA/QC activities. You will develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans in line with design outputs, codes, and standards, and document inspection results.
Responsibilities also include reviewing product and process compliance against drawings and specifications, and issuing Non Conformance reports as required.
Electrical / I&C Inspector
Additional Duties - Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to electrical and I&C, in accordance with Design Output documents, Codes, and Standards. - Perform field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans. - Document inspection results on applicable inspection records and issue Non Conformance reports as required. - Review product and process compliance with all specified drawings, specifications, and other requirements through inspection and/or review of supplied materials and equipment.
Additional Experience Qualifications - Practical field experience in electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) quality control within the last 16 months.(Preferred) - Prior work experience working under an ASME NQA-1 quality program. (Required) - Prior DOE work experience. (Required) - Well-developed organizational skills with good communication skills. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 - 10 years of practical experience in construction inspection or related areas. An Associate's degree and 10 - 12 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 12 - 16 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent. Well developed organizational and supervisory skills and good communication talents are required. Certification in areas of responsibility are required with ongoing programmatic training per the requirements of the project quality program.
