Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead SSE activities, manage schedules and budgets, and interface with leadership and customers. The role requires DoD Secret clearance and strong PM skills.

You will collaborate across sub-disciplines like Program Protection and Supply Chain Risk Management, while maintaining a proactive, self-starting approach. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 3 years with a Masters; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a U.S citizen with active DoD Secret security clearance
• Experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Experience planning, scheduling, and managing projects with many stakeholders
• Experience developing content, packaging, and briefing communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the several Working Groups and Technical Interchange Meetings that SSE is responsible for.
• Assist SSE CAMs in capturing project schedule and budget status.
• Regularly liaison with the Customer counterparts concerning select SSE activities.
• Execute completion Statement of Work requirements, Program Milestone Exit Criteria, and program maturity commitments.
• Self-starters compelled to act in the workplace without prompting from supervisors.
• Support MDT and the organization as a whole with other duties as assigned.
