Job description

DIRECTV is seeking an experienced and versatile Principal Project Manager to join the new Growth Pod team. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, an exceptional communicator, and has a strong background in digital, marketing, and technology. This individual will be responsible for managing numerous projects and workstreams across a large, matrixed organization, ensuring successful execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

Here's what you’ll do:

1. Lead and/or assist with multiple projects and workstreams across a range of functions, focused on accelerating DIRECTV’s growth strategy.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, Finance, Product, Martech, and others to drive project outcomes.
3. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
4. Assist in development and execution of in-market tests and rapid prototyping.
5. Ensure clear communication and alignment across teams, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
6. Leverage project management best practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Work within a large, matrixed organization to navigate complexities and drive seamless execution.

What you’ll need to be successful:

1. 5+ years of project management experience in a marketing and technology-driven environment.
2. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
3. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
4. Experience working within a large, matrixed organization and successfully managing cross-functional projects.
5. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
6. Experience in consumer digital marketing and/or subscription services required.
7. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results.

This role requires, but is not limited to, 10% travel to meet with internal teams as needed.

Rewards and Compensation:

DIRECTV offers a competitive salary structure designed to attract and retain talented employees. Our salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent, with the following zones:

• Wage Zones: $96,140 - $174,570
• Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210
• Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800
• High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980
• Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
