Job Description:

Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a great client and a dependable, highly ethical organization? Parsons is looking for a Principal Project Manager for a national design and construction management program.

The selected candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of design and construction and will serve as our primary contact with the client. You will be crucial in executing existing work and developing new projects by ensuring on-schedule completion, staying within or below budget, and adhering to contractual obligations. You will supervise Parsons’ staff and strengthen professional relationships with key subcontractors during project execution. Responsibilities include assigning project plans to qualified team members, understanding the client’s goals, managing scope changes, contracts, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Success in this role depends on your expertise in design and construction, your ability to monitor deliverables against client criteria, and your capacity to oversee all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of this vital program.

Qualifications:
  • 20+ years of project execution or program management experience on large-scale design and construction projects
  • Broad technical and business background
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution
  • Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) is required
  • Willingness to travel nationally to support client and project teams

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, which provides resources to US government clients in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. Salary Range: $69.62 - $125.29
