Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Project Management Analyst to support the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Process Excellence Team. This is an onsite/Hybrid position that can be based out of any of the following facilities Linthicum- Maryland, Rolling Meadows- Illinois, or Redondo Beach -California.

What you will get to do:

  • Transform and drive process control rigor to enable sustainable, profitable growth and consistently meet customer and company commitments
  • Build long-term program excellence capability and culture through the GSC Councils
  • Proactively leverage tools, processes, knowledge, and skill building enabling results driven decision making
  • Lead efforts to instill a culture of performance and program execution excellence throughout the GSC organization
  • Operate as independent oversight with implementation authority and process accountability
  • Partner with Sector Program Excellence team on developing and instilling best practices

Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Management:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, minimum of 3 years with Masters, or a minimum of 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Proven success managing projects with different customers across multiple phases of the program lifecycle
  • Ability to prioritize and complete managing tasks and schedules
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and Leadership
  • Ability to travel up to 25% per month

Preferred Qualifications for Principal Project Management:

  • Expertise in program execution, earned value management, change management, risk management, and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated experience with cross campus or multidiscipline collaboration
Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
