Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead and execute complex material handling projects, including AGV/ASRS/robotics, with expertise across mechanical, software, and installation domains.

Responsibilities include defining schedules, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring project success from proposal through after-installation management. Travel up to 40% is expected for field coordination and site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school.
• Engineering background with over 5 years’ experience in application, design, and installation of integrated MHE systems.
• Structural systems experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, management, and execution of complex material handling systems.
• Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships for project effectiveness.
• Coordinate with General Contractors and owners to ensure project success.
• Develop detailed project schedules using MS Project.
• Create acceptance test plans for system performance and reliability.

Education
