Job summary

Amazon Security is seeking a Principal Product Manager Technical to own the direction of a portfolio of security products, aligning with company-wide security, risk, and compliance goals. You will define how these products connect, determine which capabilities belong where, and shape a unified experience for builders and security teams.

You will also lead the product function for our most widely adopted product, anchoring the backlog in a real backlog, partnering with engineering and legal teams

Qualifications

10+ years of technical product or program management experience.
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Experience with security, risk intelligence, compliance, or governance products.
Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Own portfolio direction. Define how products relate and where capabilities belong.
Own a flagship product’s roadmap and backlog as single prioritizer.
Define strategy where none exists and bring clarity for execution.
Influence across security, compliance, legal, and builder‑tooling teams without direct authority.
Set the measurement bar and show security posture improvement.
Develop the product function and mentor PMs.
