Job summary

PagerDuty is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Platform Security to own the strategy and execution of how we secure, harden, and defend our Operations Cloud platform. This senior IC will drive risk-based decisions, collaborate across Product, Engineering, IT, and Legal, and translate security strategy into engineering outcomes.

The role combines product management with security engineering in a late-stage B2B SaaS environment, owning end-to-end security architecture and influencing roadmaps

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B SaaS in roles spanning product management, security engineering, and/or platform security.
• Demonstrated experience owning security architecture and risk tiering decisions — not just supporting them.
• Track record of running security programs and measuring risk reduction impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve platform security architecture — trust boundaries, authentication/authorization models, and secrets management.
• Admin console for enterprise security administrators.
• Build a security review process to bring security into roadmaps early.
• Own the security platform roadmap and influence product teams across the portfolio.
• Provide security leadership to product teams and cross-functional partners.
• Own identity & permissions platform and security products (IP allow list, SCIM).
• Develop admin tooling to audit and govern PagerDuty environments.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align security strategy with trust targets.
