Job summary

Amazon Security is seeking a Principal Product Manager Technical to own the direction of a portfolio of security products and to own one product directly. You will define how our products come together, establish backlog priorities, and align with leadership across VP organizations.

You will influence engineers, partner teams, and security strategy, set measurable outcomes, mentor product managers, and help raise the bar on product practice while delivering secure, scalable capabilities.

Qualifications

10+ years of technical product or program management experience.
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Experience with security, risk intelligence, compliance, or governance products.

Responsibilities

Own portfolio direction and determine how products relate and where capabilities belong.
Own a flagship product, including roadmap and backlogs as single prioritizer.
Define strategy in ambiguous spaces and bring clarity for execution.
Influence across organizations and align with security, compliance, legal, and builder teams.
Set the measurement bar and show security posture improvements with outcomes.
Develop the product function by mentoring PMs and participating in hiring.
