Job summary

Sonos seeks a Principal Product Manager, Software to own global identity, security, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This senior IC role will define foundational software capabilities protecting user data and platform trust across millions of households.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with engineering, legal, privacy, and product teams, translating complex regulatory needs into clear requirements and scalable solutions. Hybrid work in the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product Management experience, incl. 3–5 years in software identity/security/regulatory domains.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for global identity, security, and regulatory compliance within Sonos software.
• Translate regulatory and security needs into actionable requirements (epics, stories, acceptance criteria).
• Prioritize features to balance user experience with protection and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, privacy, and design to align on trade-offs.
• Mentor other PMs and elevate product craft across the org.
• Apply AI tools to speed research, spec writing, and data analysis.
