Job summary

Sonos is seeking a Software Product Manager to own a defined area of the Sonos software platform. You’ll work daily with engineering and design, turning requirements into clear specs and user stories while advocating for a simple, reliable experience.

You’ll learn strategy, prioritization, and roadmap tradeoffs alongside a senior PM, with room to grow and apply AI tools to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Product Management experience in consumer software or connected‑hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to ship features with quality and customer focus.
• Comfortable discussing technical concepts with engineers.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a plan.

Responsibilities

• Own execution for a defined product area and manage roadmap and backlog.
• Translate requirements into specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Represent the customer using data and feedback to inform decisions.
• Ensure quality and test edge cases for the area.
• Collaborate with engineering and design; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Develop strategic skills with senior PMs and learn prioritization tradeoffs.
• Apply AI tools to speed up research, drafting, and data analysis.
