Job summary

Edison Smart, a defense technology company, seeks a Principal Product Manager for Electronic Warfare and RF Sensing in the Los Angeles area. You will own the product, set the strategy, and drive development from concept through field trials to production.

Principal Product Manager (Electronic Warfare and RF Sensing) | Los Angeles/Irvine | Up to $240,000

Edison Smart has been retained by an established, fast-growing defense technology company to hire a Principal Product Manager to lead one of its newest product lines in Electronic Warfare and RF Sensing.

The role

You’ll be the product owner for an emerging hardware and RF product. You’ll set the strategy and roadmap, work closely with end users and industry partners to understand their needs, and guide the product through field trials into full-scale production. You’ll work across engineering, business development and leadership, and act as the product’s main champion inside and outside the company.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in product management, technical program management or a similar role in the defense sector
• Experience working with military customers and defense industry partners
• A technical background in hardware, sensors, communications or related systems
• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• An ownership mindset, and comfort working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

• Offices in West LA and Irvine, hybrid (mostly onsite)
• Base salary up to $240,000 (depending on experience)
