As Principal Product Manager of Data and Intelligence, you will lead product roadmaps for FICO's horizontal platform capabilities, advancing our position as the leading provider of AI-powered analytics and decision management solutions. The ideal candidate blends deep industry knowledge with expertise in analytics platforms and regulatory frameworks to deliver innovative, compliant, and scalable offerings.
What You'll Contribute
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product strategy and roadmap for FICO's horizontal SaaS platform, with a focus on Data-as-a-Product — treating data assets as first-class products with defined SLAs, quality metrics, and consumption interfaces. Lead prioritization of platform technology roadmaps incorporating advanced analytics and automation within financial services regulatory frameworks (risk compliance, fraud detection, credit decisioning), aligned with enterprise AI/ML adoption goals.
- Data Quality & Governance: Define and implement data quality frameworks, governance policies, and Master Data Management stewardship — including golden record standards, ownership models, and cross-system consistency. Drive data lineage, metadata management, and catalog capabilities to ensure transparency, traceability, and discoverability across the platform.
- Data Architecture & AI/ML Enablement: Drive adoption of modern data architectures (event-driven pipelines, data lakes, lakehouses, vector databases) and own requirements for FICO's data lakehouse. Enable AI/ML use cases through feature stores, model training, observability, and deployment capabilities. Translate complex data needs into user-friendly products and APIs that accelerate solution delivery.
- Data Access & Lifecycle Management: Define the data access framework including RBAC/ABAC models ensuring secure, compliant, and auditable access. Establish data retention, archival, and deletion protocols aligned with regulatory requirements. Manage the external data lifecycle end-to‑end — from acquisition and integration through monitoring, renewal, and retirement.
- Execution & Collaboration: Write detailed requirements and value‑based epics with clear acceptance criteria, managing trade‑offs between speed, cost, and quality. Define and monitor success metrics (adoption, data quality, lineage transparency, model deployment velocity). Collaborate cross‑functionally across engineering, product, design, architecture, sales, legal, privacy, and compliance to continuously improve platform planning and delivery.
