Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the dataplane platform, expanding DERP/relay capacity, subnet routers, exit nodes, and client-side networking. You will partner with GTM, CS, and Solutions Engineering to align roadmaps with production traffic commitments and regulated deployments.

You will report to the VP of Product and influence the networking community while ensuring performance SLOs and secure connectivity for millions of devices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management owning networking, transport, edge, or infrastructure products at scale.
• Deep networking fluency across the stack including NAT traversal, MTU/MSS, latency, and DNS/overlay routing.
• Ability to define performance commitments and customer-facing SLOs, operate under production expectations.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and roadmap for the company dataplane, including WireGuard behavior and DERP/relay expansion.
• Define performance and reliability as customer-facing product requirements.
• Own connectivity product strategy end-to-end: regional expansion, capacity planning, relay health observability, and enterprise deployments.
• Drive roadmap for operational primitives such as subnet routers, exit nodes, and peer relays with deployment topology and tooling.
• Own the application-layer connectivity surface—App Connectors, Services, DNS, and network segmentation.
