Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Cloud Reliability and Cloud Operations to lead reliability, scale, and cloud-operations initiatives for ZIA and ZPA. This hybrid role is based in San Jose, CA, reporting to the Director of Product Management.

You will drive critical programs across the cloud lifecycle, collaborate with cloud architects and software engineers, and lead customer engagements to build trust through transparent roadmaps and RCA reviews, shaping the future of cloud

Qualifications

Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and AI‑driven solutions.
12+ years of industry experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Technical Product Management, or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
Deep technical expertise in network security and protocols including proxies, firewalls, TLS, PKI, and HTTP/S.
Proven experience with cloud‑native services at hyper‑scalers or major SaaS providers.
Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture and resilience patterns such as clustering, cascading failure prevention, and observability principles.

Responsibilities

Define problem statements and manage critical programs across the cloud lifecycle.
Lead pre- and post-sales engagements regarding cloud resilience and RCA reviews.
Monitor ongoing cloud incidents and direct cross‑functional teams on improvement plans.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for field teams on all RAS‑related inquiries.
Collaborate with cloud architects and software engineers to balance rapid growth with stability.
