Job summary

Amazon is expanding Prime Video's News program and seeks a Principal Product Manager – Technical to define a multi-year strategy for news, partnering with data science and engineering to build AI-powered experiences that inform and engage millions of users.

You will own the vision, set ambitious metrics for awareness and daily habit, and drive cross-functional launches across design, content partnerships, marketing, legal, and operations.

Qualifications

4+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience leading engineering discussions on technology decisions.

Responsibilities

Define the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for news on Prime Video, and the metrics that measure customer awareness, engagement, and daily habit.
Set ambitious, measurable goals for news growth, and drive the programs and feature launches that deliver them.
Invent AI-powered news experiences that help customers stay informed in ways they can't get elsewhere.
Partner with scientists and software engineers to frame problems, evaluate model choices, and trade off quality, speed, and cost.
