About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to join our Banking and Treasury product team. In this role, you will drive the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of our payment solutions, leveraging the latest technology trends to deliver seamless and innovative payment experiences. You will be responsible for achieving the company's top goals by defining, developing, and executing Priority’s payment and banking strategy. You exhibit strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the creation and execution of a product roadmap for our Banking and Treasury platform for North America and lead the expansion into Global markets, with a focus on innovative, technology-driven solutions that anticipate and satisfy the changing needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, compliance, operations and legal to deliver high-quality payment products and features on time.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior and feedback, and data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Define and prioritize product requirements based on market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Closely monitor and provide thought leadership on emerging trends including regulatory impacts, emerging technologies and competitive environment changes
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring that user feedback and insights are incorporated into the product roadmap and decision-making process.
  • Drive product launches, including go-to-market strategies, customer training, and post-launch analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of payment products, iterating and optimizing as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to payments, and leverage this knowledge to inform product strategy.

  • Strategic Leadership: Effectively creating and executing a comprehensive product roadmap for the Banking and Treasury platform, including global expansion, and ensuring it aligns with the company's goals.
  • Product Delivery: Successfully launching high-quality payment products and features on time by collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Market Acumen: Identifying and capitalizing on market trends, customer needs, and data insights to drive product growth and optimization.
  • Innovation: Championing a customer-centric approach, incorporating emerging technologies, and staying ahead of regulatory changes to deliver innovative payment solutions.
  • Performance Measurement: Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Effective Communication: Communicating clearly and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quantifiable Impact: Driving product launch adoption and performance with a track record of measurable results.

Candidate Requirements:

Required

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully building, leading, and launching complex payment and fintech products from concept to launch.
  • Deep understanding of the consumer and commercial payments, embedded payment systems and integrations serving SMB, Enterprise, Marketplaces and Financial Institutions.
  • Direct product experience including driving new products to scale at a fintech, financial institution or treasury management system is a must.
  • Understanding of Global banking and payments is a big plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities, with experience using metrics and KPIs to drive product strategy and optimization.
  • Define and measure KPIs for product launch adoption and performance. You have a track record of quantifiable impact.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a desire to leverage the latest trends and advancements to drive product excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience working with the global teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Masters in Engineering, Computer Applications or Business.
  • 15+ years of Payments/Banking or relevant professional experience.

Compensation range: $138,000 - $200,000
