Job summary

STR, located near Boston, MA, seeks a Principal Product Lead for its Signals Exploitation and Tracking (SET) group. You will craft and drive a product development and marketing strategy, integrate capabilities, and demonstrate value to government and industry partners.

You will balance short-term program goals with long-term customer needs while guiding diverse teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

MS with at least 15 years of experience, and/or PhD with at least 10 years of experience in a scientific field.
Experience with sensing systems and data analytics.
Experience leading system and technology development teams.
Experience spanning all product development phases from ideation to deployment.
Proven ability to lead moderate to large engineering teams (10-40 engineers) through Agile lifecycle.
Experience working with internal leadership and external customers on tech and system programs.
US citizen with ability to obtain Security Clearance.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Responsibilities

Craft, drive, and execute a product development and marketing strategy for the SET group.
Shape product backlogs with customers and capability owners to balance short-term goals and long-term needs.
Collaborate with diverse customers, problems, tech areas, and engineering teams.
Support product architecture and design reviews within an Agile process.
Lead development of advanced algorithms and software for IC and DoD.
