Job summary

Ziff Davis Shopping is seeking a Principal Product Designer to drive end-to-end consumer experiences across mobile and web. You’ll own strategy, shape architecture, and collaborate closely with engineering on build-ready designs that scale with the product.

As the second designer on the team, you’ll define patterns, evolve a cross-channel design system, and push for growth through research, iteration, and data-informed design decisions.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of product design experience.
• Deep experience in commerce, loyalty, deals, or marketplaces.
• Proven track record shipping consumer experiences across mobile and web.
• Experience taking products from early releases to scaled maturity.
• Influence product roadmap and strategy through design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own End-to-End Experience & Product Strategy across Native Mobile and Web.
• Define patterns and reusable components, not just screens.
• Design decision-heavy experiences that build trust and clarity.
• Deliver build-ready designs in partnership with engineering.
• Connect design decisions to product strategy and business objectives.
• Establish scalable navigation and information architecture across channels.
• Contribute to and evolve a cross-channel design system.
• Design interaction models that scale with product growth.
• Anticipate future states beyond immediate needs.
• Collaborate with engineering on feasibility and QA.
• Design with performance, platform conventions, and accessibility in mind.
