Squarespace is seeking a Staff Product Designer for Commercial Growth in New York. You will own end-to-end experiences across cart, checkout, cross-sell, and pricing, shaping monetization strategy into scalable, intuitive user experiences across the product portfolio.

This high-visibility, player-coach role requires deep systems thinking, senior design craft, and collaboration with product, engineering, and RevSys to optimize frontsite to downstream conversion and overall monetization outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience at a digital product company at staff level.
• Portfolio showing complex, systems-level work across commerce, checkout, pricing, or monetization.
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams from ambiguity to shipped product.
• Track record translating monetization requirements into scalable UX patterns.
• Strong systems thinking mapping data models, flows, dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Own design across plan selection, cart merchandising, and cross-sell.
• Translate monetization strategy into flexible UX patterns.
• Design cross-sell and merchandising systems with scalable patterns.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and RevSys on flows.
• Connect Frontsite journeys to downstream conversion.
• Partner with Platform and Data Science on targeting & experimentation.
• Establish design consistency across Commercial Growth.
• Mentor craft and elevate design across the team.
