Job summary

Ziff Davis Shopping is seeking a principal product designer to carry consumer experiences from early releases to durable, market-leading scale. You’ll join as our second designer on a two-person team, owning substantial surface area and direct impact on the product.

You will architect systems, shape product strategy, and ship high-quality mobile and web experiences while evolving the product over time, influencing roadmap and collaborating closely with engineering.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of product design experience in commerce/marketplaces.
• Proven track record shipping consumer experiences across native mobile, web, and other channels.
• Ability to influence product roadmap and strategy through design excellence.
• Strong systems thinker who designs patterns, not just pages for all channels.
• Familiar with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end experience and product strategy across channels (Native Mobile, Web, Channel).
• Define patterns and reusable components; establish scalable navigation & information architecture.
• Design for growth with experimentation, data-informed iteration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering to ensure design fidelity, performance, accessibility, and timely delivery.
