Job summary

Chime is seeking a Principal Product Designer to shape key experiences in our mobile app, guiding money management moments from day-to-day usage to long-term goals. You will set a design direction with close attention to detail, elevating overall product quality and user trust.

You will lead across spending, saving, and investing experiences, crafting highly polished mobile interfaces with strong typography and motion, and translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable experiences

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing consumer mobile products with shipped work.
• Strong visual craft and ability to translate complex decisions into intuitive experiences.
• Experience leading complex product design projects as a senior individual contributor.
• Ability to define a vision, communicate it clearly, and drive execution across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across spending, savings, and investing experiences from concept to launch.
• Create polished mobile experiences with typography, layout, interaction, and motion that feel intuitive.
• Translate complex financial concepts into clear experiences to empower member decision-making.
• Explore ambitious ideas, prototype, and iterate based on feedback to sharpen direction.
• Partner with product, engineering, research, and content design to meet member needs.
