Ro is seeking a Principal Product Designer to elevate the patient experience through exceptional visual and interaction craft. You will lead design system evolution, set vision for scalable patterns, and drive AI-enabled design tooling across teams in New York.

You will mentor senior designers, partner with product and engineering, and shape the future of Ro’s patient journey with a strong emphasis on brand storytelling and conversion-focused design.

Qualifications

• High-quality visual and interaction craftsmanship demonstrated in a portfolio.
• At least 10 years designing and shipping digital products for web and mobile.
• Ability to operate as a systems thinker and hands-on maker in product design.
• Experience building, evolving, or driving adoption of design systems at scale.
• Strong conceptual thinking and creative-direction skills with a clear POV.
• Experience designing consumer-facing experiences where brand and growth matter.
• Demonstrated Principal-level leadership and influence in cross-functional contexts.

• Evolve Ro’s Design System with a clear vision and roadmap for adoption.
• Shape how design systems enable AI-assisted development and tooling integration.
• Collaborate with product, growth, marketing, and engineering to drive conversion and value.
• Identify patterns and codify ideas into reusable systems across Ro.
• Own ambiguous problems from exploration to polished implementation.
