Job summary

Ro in New York seeks an Engineering Manager for the Patient Experience team. You’ll own engineering direction for a high-visibility product area, partnering with Product, Design, Data, and other Ro teams to turn patient needs into intuitive experiences.

You’ll coach engineers, drive delivery, and shape AI-enabled patient experiences while balancing speed, reliability, and patient trust across a scalable, full‑stack platform.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Ownership of meaningful consumer-facing products or experiences.
• Strong product UX instincts and desire to simplify complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical and execution direction for a full-stack team.
• Shape the strategy and evolution of AI-enabled patient experiences across Ro.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate healthcare workflows into user-centric experiences.
• Turn ambiguous patient and business problems into clear priorities and executable plans.
• Coordinate across engineering teams to maintain coherent patient experiences.
• Coach and develop engineers, guiding technical decisions and product tradeoffs.
