Job summary

Arca, a wealth management firm building an AI-powered platform, is seeking a hands-on Member of Technical Staff focused on Product Design in NYC.

You will set the vision and the look and feel of Arca from the ground up, working directly with the founder and engineering team. This is a hands-on role—design, prototype, and ship, owning patterns and design systems as the product expands.

Qualifications

• Senior or staff-level product design experience with a strong portfolio.
• 0→1 product work at a startup is a plus.
• Consumer-minded design with fintech context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and ship product features end-to-end.
• Define client experience across touchpoints from first contact to ongoing wealth management.
• Create advisor surfaces for daily use and high-touch service scale.
• Build agentic experiences where humans and agents collaborate with trust.
• Develop generative UI patterns and a coherent design system as product grows.
• Lead research with advisors and clients to inform design decisions.
