Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Principal Product Designer to own and design the AI-powered agentic experience and to raise the craft bar across the Retail design organization. This non-management, hands-on IC role reports to the Head of Design for Retail and focuses on shaping mobile and agentic AI interactions across a broad product portfolio.

• 12+ years of product design experience with hands-on craft across UX, interaction, and visual design.
• Portfolio demonstrates exceptional hands-on craft and ability to ship polished products.

Responsibilities

• Define new interaction patterns for agentic AI and design end-to-end AI experiences.
• Lead design across a large product portfolio in collaboration with AI engineering and product leadership.
• Raise the craft bar by contributing across product areas and mentoring teams.
