Job summary

AppViewX is seeking a Principal Presales Solution Architect to lead agentic identity security efforts. The role blends strategic evangelism with hands-on architecture, engaging CISOs and CTOs at strategic accounts while shaping AIS narrative with analysts and industry events.

The candidate will own the AIS technical backbone, including Use Case Map, demo environments, POC frameworks, and reference architectures for the global SE organization, reporting to the VP of Global Solutions Engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise security pre-sales or solutions architecture.
• Deep knowledge of agentic AI, non-human/workload identity, and service account governance.
• Proven external-facing technical evangelist with conferences or analyst engagement.
• Hands-on architecture and build capability to demo complex environments.
• Experience engaging CISO- and CTO-level stakeholders on strategic deals.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to shift between technical detail and executive narrative.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% for customer and industry engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical voice on agentic identity in field and public forums.
• Build and maintain analyst relationships (Gartner, KuppingerCole, Forrester).
• Engage CISO/CTO-level stakeholders as trusted advisor alongside regional teams.
• Own AIS Use Case Map, Demo Runbook, and reference architectures across global SE.
• Lead or co-lead strategic AIS POCs/POVs with cross-regional teams.
