Job summary

Telemetry Today LLC is seeking a principal electrical engineer to own the complete electrical system for a 42 MW gas turbine powering AI data centers. You’ll own architecture from concept through validated hardware, working across power distribution, protection, instrumentation, and controls interfaces.

You should bring 7+ years designing complex electrical systems, deep expertise in at least two areas, and a proven track record of taking a system from blank page to tested hardware with hands-on

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing electrical systems for power-dense hardware.
• Deep expertise in multiple areas: power distribution, protection, instrumentation, high-power electronics, or controls hardware.
• Track record of taking a system from blank page to tested hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for major portions of the engine, end to end.
• Design and build systems to monitor, protect, and sense the engine under real operating conditions.
• Partner with propulsion, mechanical, controls, and test engineering to integrate electrical systems.
• Manage vendor relationships for outsourced hardware.
• Lead root-cause investigations when hardware deviates from the model in testing.
• Set technical direction for other engineers in the system.
