Job summary

BooM is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to own the electrical system for a 42 MW gas turbine powering AI data centers. You will oversee power distribution, protection, instrumentation, and controls interfaces end-to-end from concept to validated hardware.

You will work across propulsion, mechanical, controls, and test engineering to integrate electrical systems into a startup-grade platform, debugging in the lab, and leading technical direction for the team.

Qualifications

• Own electrical systems end to end from architecture through hardware bring-up and field validation.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for major portions of Superpower, from concept to validated hardware.
• Design and build systems that monitor, protect, and sense the engine under real operating conditions.
• Collaborate with propulsion, mechanical, controls, and test engineering to integrate electrical systems into the gas turbine platform.
