Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own XDR and the convergence with exposure and vulnerability capabilities. You will shape strategy across endpoints, cloud, and network, driving prioritization and outcomes in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

You will collaborate with Security Labs and Engineering to translate threat research into actionable requirements, lead cross-domain initiatives, and communicate roadmap directions to CISO and VP stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR/EDR/SIEM or broader security operations.
• Strong ability to articulate requirements and guide engineering without extensive handholding.
• Experience presenting to C‑suite and VP-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own XDR strategy and delivery across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
• Lead expansion into exposure and vulnerability management, including patch management and remediation workflows.
• Define interfaces between XDR, exposure, and other surfaces like attack surface and cloud posture.
• Collaborate with Entity Analytics for asset criticality and context to enhance prioritization.
• Act as product voice with senior customers, delivering roadmap direction and deprioritizations.
• Monitor competitive landscape and translate insights into differentiated strategy.
• Write actionable requirements with engineering and ensure clear delivery without excessive meetings.
• Create artifacts like roadmap trackers and competitive briefs for stakeholders.
