Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA seeks a Principal Product Manager for New Product Success to own the ML-powered system turning unmet customer demand into seller launch opportunities. You’ll drive the multi-year vision, define ML requirements, and lead cross-functional teams to scale offerings.

You will shape product strategy, partner with engineering, design, and marketing, and influence leadership through narratives and reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams through full product life cycle.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of systems.
• Experience defining and shipping ML-powered products (e.g., recommendation, ranking, personalization).
• Experience communicating product strategy to senior leadership via narratives and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for New Product Success, from customers and the sellers.
• Define ML system requirements for the experience, including clustering, unmet demand, sizing and ranking, and personalization.
• Own the seller-facing experience: which opportunities each seller sees, when, and why, with clear guidance.
• Close the loop from opportunity to launch and feed learnings back into models.
• Shape the economic model for guided selection, including fees, discovery support, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
• Partner with engineering, science, design, user research, and marketing; influence Directors and VPs through PRFAQs, narratives, and reviews.
• Set metrics, mechanisms, and experimentation strategy to prove impact and guide future investment.
