Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software in Michigan is seeking a senior migration architect within the AMS Zone Services Team to provide specialist migration expertise for Teamcenter projects, guide architecture and data exchange decisions, and mentor peers.

You will lead workshops, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape PLM migration strategy across industries, travel 25–50%, with remote or nearby Siemens offices, ensuring successful data migration and business transformation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and MES concepts.
Willingness to travel 25–50% and work remotely or a nearby Siemens office.
Experience with Teamcenter, BMIDE, and Siemens platforms.
Technical skills in SQL, C#, Mendix, integration frameworks.
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma and enterprise deployment frameworks.
U.S. persons preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist migration expertise and technical leadership by consulting and advising on migration solutions.
Act as responsible technical architect for sales pursuits and bid processes.
Advise Solution Architects on PLM migration strategies and mappings.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to support delivery.
Contribute to project planning, estimates and documentation for migration work.
Lead workshops and map business/technical requirements.
Generate validation reports after each migration iteration.
