Job summary

Ampstek seeks a PLM Solution Architect / Data Migration to define end-to-end migration architecture for enterprise data migrations targeting Siemens Teamcenter. The role requires 12+ years in PLM implementations with a focus on data migration and deep Teamcenter expertise.

You will translate business and IT data requirements into migration strategies and transformation rules, design scalable approaches, and ensure data quality and validation across pre- and post-loading phases.

Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end PLM data migration architecture for enterprise transformations with Siemens Teamcenter as the target platform.
• Translate business, engineering, and IT data requirements into migration strategies and transformation rules.
• Design and govern scalable, repeatable migration approaches for large-scale migrations.
• Define and enforce data quality, reconciliation, and validation (pre- and post-loading) strategies, including dry runs, cutover readiness, and rollback planning.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure continuity of the digital thread post-migration.
• Lead end-to-end data migration programs from Agile PLM to Teamcenter for multi-site implementations.

Work Location: Richardson TX, Indianapolis IN, Hartford CT, Phoenix AZ, Raleigh NC

Required Qualifications:

Define the end-to-end PLM data migration architecture for enterprise

transformations, with Siemens Teamcenter as the target platform.

12+ years of experience in PLM implementations with a strong focus on data

migration, and deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter. Proven experience

leading large-scale, complex PLM data migrations (e.g., Agile Teamcenter,

multi-instance consolidations).

Translate business, engineering, and IT data requirements into migration

strategies, and transformation rules.

Design and govern scalable, repeatable migration approaches (e.g., migration

Define and enforce data quality, reconciliation, and validation (pre and Post

loading) strategies, including dry runs, cutover readiness, and rollback planning.

Collaborate closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, and delivery

teams to ensure seamless continuity of the digital thread postmigration.

Preferred Qualifications:

program especially movement from Agile PLM to Teamcenter

Experience in industries such as Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive,

Aerospace & Defense, or High-Tech

Experience supporting US-based clients in large, regulated, or multi-site
