Job summary

Oracle OCI Robotics Cloud is building a secure, scalable cloud platform for onboarding, managing, and operating heterogeneous robot fleets. You will own major services, define architecture, and drive end-to-end delivery across AI, cloud, edge, and robotics domains.

The role emphasizes designing scalable cloud-native components, APIs, SDKs, and integration with multiple vendors. Strong background in distributed systems and security is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of software development experience building backend services, distributed systems, cloud platforms, or related production systems.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, design, implementation, and evolution of a major Robotics Cloud service or platform component.
• Drive projects end to end from requirements and design through production delivery.
• Build scalable cloud-native services for robot onboarding, identity, fleet management, and telemetry.
• Define secure APIs, service contracts, SDKs, and edge interfaces for multi-vendor robot integration.
• Develop AI-assisted, spec-driven robot onboarding capabilities and developer workflows.
