Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is shaping the next wave of region build automation by integrating AI-driven tooling. As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and operate scalable software systems, and mentor teammates to deliver high-quality cloud services.

You’ll balance speed and quality with iterative improvements in a collaborative, agile environment. You should bring hands-on leadership, experience with large-scale distributed services, and a passion for operational excellence

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Experience writing great code in Java, GoLang, C#, or similar OO languages.
• Experience developing software with Agentic AI capabilities.
• Proven ability to deliver products with the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience working on large-scale, distributed services infrastructure.
• Experience working in operational environments with mission-critical live-site servicing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and drive.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable software solutions for OCI.
• Mentor and guide teams, establish coding standards, and troubleshoot complex challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals.
• Define best practices and secure, maintainable architectures across services.
• Drive operational excellence and proactive improvements in cloud-scale systems.
