Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment's Ticketmaster division seeks a Principal Platform Engineer, AI & Automation to modernize host platform automation and drive AI-enabled SRE practices. You will develop scalable automation, mentor engineers, and lead adoption of AI-driven tooling across global teams.

You’ll work across systems powering live event sales, shaping workflows with Terraform/Ansible, Docker/Kubernetes, and agentic AI to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on software engineering experience; backend or systems focus.
• Hands-on with AI developer tools and agentic AI in workflows.
• Proficient in scripting languages and IaC tooling; security-minded.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code to accelerate platform automation and reduce tech debt.
• Lead AI-driven development and implement agentic AI workflows across teams.
• Define internal standards for automation, SRE, and code quality.
• Mentor engineers and run on-site trainings and hackathons.
