Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Platform DevSecOps Engineer onsite at the Aurora, CO facility. You will design, develop, and sustain cloud-based compute, network, and storage infrastructure, modernizing platforms with emerging tech.

You will apply DevSecOps methodologies to accelerate software release cycles and ensure mission-critical reliability. You will work with platform engineers and system administrators across build, test, and production environments, embedding security and automation

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in STEM in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 8 years of related work experience.
• Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of RedHat Linux operating systems.
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating cloud-based systems on AWS.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
• Active and Current TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required on day 1; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Platform Development and Optimization across build, integration, test, and production environments in cloud-based ecosystems.
• Utilize industry best practices to enhance scalability, consistency, and infrastructure efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and agile teams to design resilient platform solutions.
• Embed security and compliance measures including encryption and access management.
• Provide ongoing operational support to maintain stability and performance of the platform.
