Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Plant Operator for our wastewater treatment facilities. The role focuses on operating and maintaining process equipment, monitoring SCADA systems, and ensuring compliance with regulations across federal, state, and local levels.

The position starts as a 3-month contract with day-shift training, then transitions to a 12-hour night shift (6pm–6am), three days on and three off. Candidates with water/wastewater experience and appropriate licenses are favored.

Qualifications

• Construction or industrial experience required.
• Water or wastewater experience/knowledge.
• Class 3, 2, or 1 license required.
• Experience working within local government.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment process equipment.
• Monitor SCADA system and record process trends.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Conduct field analytical tests and sample collection.
• Work outdoors in varying weather.
