Job summary

Flex is hiring a Principal Product Manager, Payments, to lead the end-to-end payments platform including transaction processing, fraud, and disputes. You will balance UX, risk, and cost while expanding payment methods and driving platform-scale architecture.

You will partner with Risk, Finance, Ops, and Engineering to deliver resilient, compliant solutions, coach PMs, and define success metrics across cost, reliability, speed, and losses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product experience with 3+ years in payments or platform product roles in fintech/banking/B2B2C fintech.
• Deep understanding of payments ecosystem: authorization, retries, tokenization, gateways, fraud systems.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate with engineers to design scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Shape the cross-functional platform product strategy.
• Own payments platform strategy and end-to-end roadmap (vaulting, authorization, processing, reconciliation, refunds).
• Reduce payment processing costs through smarter routing, retry logic, and fraud/dispute efficiency.
• Build and scale fraud detection and dispute infrastructure.
• Expand payment method coverage across cards, bank transfers, wallets with proper controls.
• Partner with Risk, Finance, Ops, and Engineering to align on goals and build scalable solutions.
• Lead and grow a high-performing product team with strong ownership and quality.
