Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California is seeking a Senior Principal, Operational Excellence who will design and implement scalable processes and operating systems across Manufacturing, MSAT, Quality, Process Development, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to boost execution, predictability, speed, quality and overall organizational performance.

This onsite, full-time senior role leads cross-functional improvements, establishes governance and standard work, mentors process owners, and shapes enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, business, or related field.
• Progressively responsible experience in Operational Excellence or Lean.
• Experience implementing operating systems in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Deep knowledge of Lean, tier governance, and value-stream analysis.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and redesign cross-functional processes with ownership gaps or delays.
• Lead process-maturity initiatives from problem definition to benefits realization.
• Replace manual practices with scalable workflows and clear ownership.
• Improve coordination and governance across batch review and release.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, and Engineering to reduce delays.
• Establish sustainment plans with named owners and standard work.
