Position: Westinghouse Parts (WP) Principal OEM Sales Engineer

This role involves leading the development of complex commercial offers for the Westinghouse Parts Business. The OEM Sales Engineer will collaborate with the fulfillment team, Inside Sales, Product Management, and various global units to develop OEM parts offerings and ensure competitive yet risk-managed commercial proposals.

This is a US ONLY Remote or Mobile role.

Your Day to Day:
  1. Develop challenging offers for the Westinghouse Parts Business, including reviewing client specifications, working with suppliers, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and describing products succinctly.
  2. Innovate solutions to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  3. Align cost, lead time, and pricing strategies with supply chain, sales, and product management teams, incorporating feedback to improve win rates.
  4. Prioritize and communicate offers effectively, and lead process improvement projects to reduce quote turnaround times and evaluate pricing levels.
  5. Analyze offers to make informed pricing recommendations for new and existing business opportunities.
  6. Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure timely issuance of high-priority offers.
Who You Are:
  • B.S. degree in engineering, business management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in engineering, business, operations, or nuclear parts sales with increasing complexity.
  • Strong engineering, commercial, change management, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset and inquisitive nature.
  • Understanding of financials and how to develop commercial offers that positively impact margins.
  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at higher organizational levels.
