Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Principal Software Engineer, Application Architect, Technical Architect, Consultant, Computer System Engineer, or a related position developing and designing software solutions.
• 7 years of experience with mainframe modernization using distributed architectures for large scale and high performance; core banking solution development for financial institutions; microservices architecture with CQRS, Event Sourcing and DDD; containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher); distributed architectures across middleware layers; and profiling/monitoring tools (JMC, JFR, JProfiler, VisualVM).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of observability solutions across hosting infra, applications, network, and databases.
• Evaluate emerging products via research and POCs and advise strategic adoption.
• Guide solution architects and technical teams in implementing architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
• Architect and lead teams to implement observability pipelines and unified observability tools.
• Architect and implement AIOps solutions to reduce MTTR/MTTD and prevent outages.
• Plan and execute site-wide distributed storage transformations and migrations.
• Lead vendor governance to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Mentor and coach high-performing, multicultural teams across geographies.
