Job summary

Sapsf is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to lead the Internet Gateway migration with global scope, owning low-level design and implementation across US and UK. You will design, build, test, migrate, and troubleshoot complex enterprise network services spanning Internet, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud and security domains.

Qualifications

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure mandatory.
• Expert-level BGP knowledge including Internet edge design, policy, traffic engineering, and multi-carrier connectivity.
• Hands-on Cisco enterprise routing and switching experience.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise Internet connectivity solutions.
• Strong SD-WAN engineering experience (Cisco Viptela).
• Understanding of OSPF, MPLS, VRFs, QoS, route redistribution, and high-availability design.
• Experience delivering complex network migrations and transformation programmes.
• Experience integrating enterprise networks with Azure and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting with packet captures, protocol analysis, routing diagnostics, and telemetry tools.
• Experience working with ISPs, carriers, and managed service providers.
• Experience producing implementation plans, migration runbooks, and low-level designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and implement Internet Gateway migration solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot complex routing environments including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRFs, routes, and traffic engineering.
• Troubleshoot across Internet edge, SD‑WAN, WAN, LAN, cloud, security, and carrier connectivity.
• Develop migration plans, procedures, cutovers, rollback strategies, and testing.
• Analyze dependencies and resolve blockers across network and security services.
• Review low-level designs, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with Network Architects to translate designs into deployable solutions.
• Lead on major implementation events and high-risk changes.
• Promote engineering best practices and operational readiness.
