Job summary

Unity Technologies SF is seeking a Principal Mobile App Developer to architect and lead a greenfield B2C mobile app for a premier consumer rewards platform. You will drive the technical stack, state management, and end‑to‑end mobile experience across iOS and Android, building a highly gamified storefront on top of Unity’s backend systems.

You will mentor senior engineers, define CI/CD for frequent releases, and partner with ML attribution teams to optimize user value and retention.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in native iOS/Android or cross‑platform mobile apps at scale.
• Strong background in gamification, wallets, or loyalty features.
• Experience leading mobile architecture decisions and delivering high quality code.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of a greenfield consumer mobile app (iOS/Android).
• Build engaging gamified UI components and ensure 60fps performance.
• Integrate the app with Unity backend, ML attribution, and real‑time data pipelines.
• Mentor senior mobile engineers and drive CI/CD for rapid releases.
