Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for Missile Guidance, Navigation, and Control. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms within an integrated product team for 6-DoF simulations and flight software.

The role focuses on developing tactical missile flight code, performing performance studies, and supporting analyses to meet system requirements in an onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, or Mathematics with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• GNC, signal processing, or modeling/simulation experience.
• Proficient in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and OO programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and test embedded missile flight code.
• Define and execute system-level performance studies to guide development.
• Work within Agile to lead backlogs, plans, and metrics.
• Mentor engineers and train the program team for efficiency.
• Support missile performance analysis including Monte Carlo assessments.
