Principal Mechanical Engineer (PR/4012450) Plano, Texas

Salary: USD120,000 - USD150,000 per annum

This position is for a Principal Mechanical Engineer at a medical device company in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

• BSME required (or equivalent)
• 8+ years of medical device design and product development experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, FEA, and mold flow analysis
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Ability to implement DFM and DFA principles into product design and conduct risk analysis
• Knowledge of standard laboratory test methods for mechanical functional parameters
• Ability to perform root cause analysis using experimental and statistical methods
• Knowledge of plastics and injection molding

The successful candidate will lead NPD activities from inception to completion, owning all aspects of product design, drawing, development, costing, manufacturability, optimization, testing, packaging, and design control documentation.
