Job summary

Bolt Graphics in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Principal Master Data Architect & PLM Owner to steward product data, design data structures, validate data, and synchronize across our digital ecosystem from engineering concepts to mass production.

You will lead scalable master data governance and drive the enterprise PLM implementation, shaping data quality, stewardship, ETL, and cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Configuration Management, or Product Data Architecture in a hardware environment.
• PLM implementation: proven track record leading full-lifecycle PLM deployments (Arena or Oracle Agile preferred).
• Systems integration: mapping schemas and APIs for PLM-to-ERP, with middleware/iPaaS experience a major plus.
• Technical literacy: SQL, advanced Excel, and Python/data viz for data health auditing.
• Domain expertise: experience with EDA data (Cadence, Altium, Synopsys) and CAD databases (SolidWorks, Creo).
• Education: BS/BA in technical field; MS or data governance certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Schema Design: design and enforce Bolt Graphics’ Enterprise Item Master with part-numbering and lifecycle definitions.
• Digital Thread Integration: map data between CAD/EDA, PLM, and ERP/MES to ensure a single source of truth.
• Data Quality & Cleansing: automation rules to catch duplicates and metadata gaps before production.
• Data Stewardship: lead Data Governance Council to align stakeholders on data standards.
• End-to-End Deployment: evaluate and deploy enterprise PLM platform and roadmap (Arena/Agile).
• ETL & Migration: own ETL strategy to migrate legacy data and designs into PLM repository.
• Configuration & Workflow Management: manage ECO/MCO and deviance workflows for velocity and rigor.
• Supply Chain Data Syndication: establish data-sharing with AVL/MPN and external foundries/partners.
