First Solar is seeking a senior process engineer to lead and improve manufacturing processes for solar modules. You will oversee engineers and technicians, collaborating with Development Engineering, Global Supply Chain, and Quality & Reliability to resolve complex problems and replicate changes across sites.

The role requires 8+ years in process engineering or R&D in manufacturing, strong data analysis skills with JMP or Minitab, and a background in PV manufacturing flow or related technology

Formación

• 8+ years process engineering and/or R&D experience in manufacturing.
• Fluent with statistical analysis methods and tools; adept at analyzing big datasets with JMP or Minitab.
• Experience in Photovoltaics Manufacturing Flow or Technology Development in thin film/semiconductor processes.
• Degree in Engineering or Physical Science (Bachelors/Masters/PhD).

Responsabilidades

• Develop, improve, and document robust solar module manufacturing processes.
• Perform in-depth investigations into process issues.
• Evaluate new equipment according to process standards.
• Define and implement corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement.
• Lead local task forces and project teams; influence up to director level globally.
