Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL seeks a Principal / Sr Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join the SLCM-N program. The role interfaces with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to forecast supplier-driven delays and cost impacts, and to assess supplier capacity and capabilities.

You will support program-level sourcing and maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL). The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background in aerospace/defense, excellent communication skills, and

Qualifications

• BS in Science with 5 years, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year in engineering.
• 5+ years in aerospace/military manufacturing engineering or similar.
• Strong background in specified commodities and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Interface between Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to forecast delays and cost impacts.
• Support Supplier Management, Production Operations and Design Engineering with supplier capabilities.
• Develop supplier development plans and manage capacity/capability assessments.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and communicate complex technical needs.
