Job summary

BGBx Consulting seeks a Principal to lead engagements across pharmaceutical, medical device, and health IT sectors with a strong focus on strategy and growth. The role balances project management, delivery, and business development in a senior team setting.

Based in a hybrid office (Washington DC, Boston, or New York), you will oversee engagements, shape client proposals, and guide teams while driving high-impact commercial decisions backed by research and analysis.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of consulting experience at a top healthcare consulting firm.
• BA/BS from a top four-year university or college.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Business research and analysis experience with ability to synthesize data and draw conclusions.
• Experience leading multiple workstreams and project teams.
• Foreign language skills preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong people management.

Responsibilities

• Balance project management, project delivery, and business development responsibilities.
• Serve as a strategy and thought partner to clients and firm leaders.
• Analyze research and client information to develop conclusions and recommendations.
• Write client-ready presentations and deliver impactful business presentations.
• Develop thought leadership to support business development with existing and new clients.
• Work with senior leaders to scope and develop proposals for new projects.
• Engage in practice planning discussions including marketing and strategy topics.
